Mouldings

To add a new single moulding, go to Menu -> Mats & Mouldings and locate and click the "Add one" button at the bottom of the page.

Enter the moulding code you wish to add and click submit. The code cannot be longer than 20 alpha-numeric characters and cannot contain special characters or spaces.

Upload a good quality moulding image from your computer, select a section of it as shown below and click "Proceed". Keep in mind that the selected section will be tiled all around your frames, for optimal results, it must be evenly lighted and reflection free.

By default and for more seamless results, the selection is flipped and tiled all around your frame. If you select "Leave as is", the section will only be tiled and not flipped, this is required if your moulding has a directional pattern that should not be flipped.

The new moulding is now shown in your list with default values. Enter your moulding info including the correct width and click "Save changes" at the bottom of the page (or hit "enter" with your cursor in a field). If the tiling result is not satisfactory, you can click "Change Image" and try the upload/crop process again.

Mats

To add a new single mat, go to Menu -> Mats & Mouldings, click"Mats" at the top of the page and locate and click the "Add one" button at the bottom of the page.

Enter the mat code you wish to add and click submit. The code cannot be longer than 20 alpha-numeric characters and it cannot contain special characters or spaces.

Upload a good quality mat image from your computer, select a section of it and click "Proceed". Keep in mind that the selected section will be tiled if smaller than the actual mat with you design, for optimal results, it must be evenly lighted and reflection free.

Please note that your mat section can be very small or very large but you need to specify it's real width for accurate tiling. It could for example represent one square inch or a complete sheet. If your mat has a special texture or pattern, tiling a small section may not work. In this case, taking a photo of the whole sheet may be the only way to get a realistic result.

The new mat is now shown in your list with default values. Enter your mat info including the correct sheet size and click "Save changes" at the bottom of the page (or hit "enter" with your cursor in a field). If the tiling result is not satisfactory, you can click "Change Image" and try the upload/crop process again.
